Our flagship product. The Soothe Helmet is the first full-coverage cooling cap designed specifically for children — carefully crafted to provide balanced compression and temperature-regulating comfort for fever and headaches.

Designed for children ages 2–12 to cover the eyes, forehead, and temples, as well as the ears, sides, back, and closed crown of the head.
Refrigerator-cooled gel distributed 360° around the head. Not intended for the freezer or microwave.
[1.3–1.5 lbs] of soft, even weight. Gentle pressure that helps an overwhelmed child settle.
Complete eye coverage to block direct light and visual stimulation while promoting relaxation and regulation.
Warm linen felt outside, sealed olive gel chambers inside. Finely stitched, soft to the touch.
A children's wellness tool intended to supplement your guided pediatric care solutions.
The 2-pack is built for continuous comfort care. While one cap is in use, the other rests in the fridge — so the next round of cooling is always ready.

soothelings is building a comfort ecosystem for childhood — a growing family of thoughtfully designed tools for life’s common discomforts. Everything we make will answer to the same standard the Soothe Helmet does: designed specifically for children, drug-free, and beautiful enough to leave out.
We’d rather make one thing properly
than many things quickly.
As a mom of three, I spent a lot of nights looking for a gentler way to comfort my kids through fevers, headaches, and the moments when they couldn’t regulate. I wanted something drug-free to reach for first — before the medicine cabinet.
What actually worked fairly well was a cooling cap: the even cold, gentle pressure, and light-blocking coverage all helped my children calm down and rest. But the ones I could find were made for adults, lacked secure compression, weren’t designed for comfort, and weren’t sized intentionally for children.
Over the years, I found myself hoping a brand would make a higher-quality, thoughtfully designed cooling product for children, but no one did. So I finally decided I would build it.
soothelings is the comfort ecosystem I spent years wishing for — made for the kids who need it, and the parents and guardians caring for them.

No. The Soothe Helmet is a comfort tool: a drug-free way to support a child through fever and headache moments. It sits alongside pediatric guidance, never in place of it.
About thirty minutes per cycle. That's why the 2-pack exists: one Soothe Helmet can cool in the refrigerator while the other is in use.
Children ages 2 to 12. The fit, weight, and coverage are built for a child's head, not adapted from an adult migraine cap.
No, refrigerator only. The freezer makes the gel too cold and too rigid for safe, gentle use on a child.
The Soothe Helmet is designed strictly for resting use with adult supervision. We do not recommend wearing it during unsupervised sleep.
Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. The fabric does not require machine washing. Full care instructions ship in the box and are available [in the support center].
